PROUDfest Concert

Baltimore Black Pride presents PROUDfest A Queer AF Concert and official SIPS After Party. Featuring TT The Artist, DDM, Langston King, Black Assets, RovoMonty and Kotic Coture

This event is a part of the inaugural launch of a new poetry slam festival as a new core element of Black Pride 2021.

Stonewall International Poetry Slam (SIPS)

SIPS is an international poetry festival for non-cishet artists that centers Black people. We are preparing to kick off the inaugural festival in Baltimore, Maryland. The festival will take place from October 19th-24th, 2021 and will feature over 20 events as a part of the larger Baltimore Black Pride celebration.

The Black Arts District is excited to be co-organizers of Baltimore Black Pride 2021. As America attempts to recover from the aftermath of a global pandemic, we recognize that members of the Black LGTBQ+ community face compiling social challenges that are exacerbated by the forced isolation and economic hardships that were brought on by the pandemic. As a result, the Black Arts District is dedicated to collaborating with dozens of local and national partners to create safe, celebratory spaces for the purpose of promoting: health, joy, empowerment and equity. We believe Black Pride is needed now more than ever before. With your support we will be able to impact thousands of lgbtq+ people locally and nationally.
