Shrek The Musical Jr.: A Night to Remember

R.I.S.E Arts Center, with vocal and sound direction in partnership with The Arts Project, is proud to announce its magical end-of-summer stage production, Shrek The Musical Jr, taking place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 5:30 PM at M&T Bank Exchange at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center in downtown Baltimore.

Experience the magic of Shrek Jr. live on stage! Join Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and all your favorite fairy tale creatures on a hilarious adventure filled with laughter, heart, and unforgettable songs. With dazzling costumes and an incredibly talented cast, this show is fun for the whole family. This bold and magical reimagining of the classic tale features a cast of neurodiverse youth performers ages 5–13, blending storybook fantasy with Afrocentric Dandyism, Black Excellence, and street glam. Don’t miss this Shrek-tacular event!

General public tickets: $15

VIP Tickets: $45 (includes: Enjoy a selection of gourmet appetizers while mingling and anticipating the main event: The live performance of “Shrek Jr.” In addition, witness a live band and abstract painting in tribute to the Shrek Musical by a local Baltimore artist.
