Sounds of the Season

Maryland Opera’s Season of Celebration continues with “Sounds of the Season” featuring operatic and seasonal favorites performed by two renowned artists and excerpts from Hansel & Gretel performed by graduates of the Maryland Opera Summer Camp. Stage and musical direction and piano accompaniment for all selections is by Maryland Opera’s Artistic Director, James Harp, long known for excellence in operatic performances and musical outreach in the Mid-Atlantic area.  Children are welcome at this performance as we present Humperdinck’s fairy tale masterpiece.
