Stage Combat Workshop for Improvisers and Actors

Get ready to fight! Well, get ready to make it look like a fight!

We will learn to punch, kick, slap, hair pull and knock-each other out – without hurting each other at all! Starting with safety falls and then working in pairs you will learn a set of moves that you can signal, set up and execute safely on stage whilst looking and sounding completely real!

About the Instructor Lisa Lynn (She/Her):

Lisa is an award-winning professional actor, singer and improviser based in London, who has trained all over the world. She has a First Class BA Honours degree in Music Theatre, and is also a fully qualified Performing Arts teacher; she discovered improv in 2015. Lisa directs the 5* A Cappella improvised musical ‘Acaprov’ which she founded in 2018; as well as starring in Hell Yeah! The Show, MusicBox and The Southend 48 Hour Improvathon, directed by Ali James of SHOWSTOPPER!

Previously Lisa Co-Directed Multiverse and did short form with The Inflatables and City Impro. Now a SHUFFLE House Team member, Lisa regularly performs with and teaches for The UK’s Number 1 improv theatre/school – HOOPLA. Online Lisa is a regular guest with The Mopco Improv Theatre, New York.
