The Future Of Healthcare Series: Jessica Leigh Hester Presents - Sewer

Our sibling shop, Bird in Hand, is delighted to welcome back JHU’s History of Medicine Department for the next installment of the Future of Healthcare Series!

We’ll be celebrating the publication of Jessica Leigh Hester’s Sewer, a book that examines sewer systems and wastewater treatment plants—as ecosystems, engineering marvels, environmental woes, and barometers of life on the surface.

This event will take place at Bird in Hand, located at 11 E. 33rd St. It is free and open to the public.
