
The Science of Tempering Chocolate (for Ages 10-14 years)
Join us at the Baltimore UnderGround Science Space (BUGSS) for a hands-on exploration of the fascinating world of chocolate tempering! Our high school iGEM students will lead you through a hands-on experiment to see why tempering makes such a difference for achieving that perfect snap and shine in your chocolate creations. Learn the chemistry behind the molecules in cocoa butter. Students will be able to eat their creations, so please be sure to alert us to any chocolate allergies! This course is designed for students ages 7-12.
