The Quentin Walston Trio is an exciting piano, bass, and drums jazz group. Their foot-tapping, energetic sets of original music and favorite jazz standards have been heralded as “stunning” and “impeccable”! Composer/pianist Quentin Walston’s memorable melodies, striking rhythms and adventurous improvisations have been featured on NPR and PBS stations. His works show listeners his dynamic jazz style, influenced by masters such as Thelonious Monk and Erroll Garner, to more modern figures like Brad Mehldau and the Bad Plus. Also, a passionate music educator, Quentin weaves jazz history and stories behind his own compositions into the concerts, making them an engaging experience for all who attend. Quentin is joined by the virtuosic Daniel Kelly II on drums and the highly-talented Jeff Cuny on bass, both of whom take each song to new heights.
