World is Your Oyster Fest
Oyster Recovery Partnership (ORP), an Annapolis-based non profit expert in Chesapeake Bay oyster restoration, is pleased to announce World is Your Oyster Fest on October 8, 2022 from 12-4 PM. Seafood lovers can purchase a ticket for the event, which will provide access to plentiful and delicious local eats and drinks as well as entertainment, such as an expert-led Shuck Like a Pro tutorial and ORP’s First Annual Oyster Shucking Competition – a qualifying event for the US National Oyster Shucking Competition Contest- all in support of ORP’s mission of restoring the Chesapeake Bay’s oyster population.
Complete with a Vendor Village, local businesses who support ORP and its mission of restoring the Chesapeake Bay will be offering a variety of Chesapeake-themed items for sale. Home goods, gifts and jewelry from Smyth Jewelers, custom oyster prints from Kim Hovell, oyster art from @SVN_SMR, as well as complimentary quick one-minute oyster portraits onsite for guests from Goodloe Byron and much more are to be expected.
Tickets are on sale now for $165 per person and can be purchased via the festival’s website.
