Overview

This is a FOUR CLASS session, followed by a Student Showcase. Classes take place on Tuesdays (6/6, 6/13, 6/20, and 6/27) from 7-9pm at the Bolton Street Synagogue. The class Showcase will be held on Wednesday, July 5th, 7:30pm at Single Carrot Theater. Do you ever just get that urge to bust out into song? In this high energy class you will learn the basic concepts and tools to make up songs on the spot! Students will participate in exercises that encourage you to think quick on your feet and in verse, as well as understand the mechanics of creating songs. Through the class you will learn to sign songs and full blown ensemble numbers confident in your own voice! No singing experience necessary. Taught by veteran DC Musical Improv Instructor, Karen Lange, accompanied by musician, Jeff Waters. Prerequisites BIG University Levels 101 and 201.
