Altered Realities: MAP's Fall Benefit Exhibition On View: September 14 – November 4, 2017 Silent Auction Preview: October 4, 2017 @ 5pm Closing Reception: November 4, 2017 @ 6pm Altered Realities, MAP’s Annual Fall Benefit Exhibition, will open Thursday, September 14 and will be on display at Maryland Art Place through Saturday, November 4, 2017. Gallery hours are 12-4pm, Tuesday through Friday. MAP is located at 218 W Saratoga Street in downtown Baltimore. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Altered Realities focuses on uncanny interpretations of the everyday experience. The show will highlight works of art that subvert the viewer’s perspectives literally or metaphorically. Featured artists include Thomas Dahlberg, Chris Peters, Phaan Howng, Mehves Lelic, Jonah Calinawan, Johnathan Baker, Bryan O'Neill, Hadar Silverman, Luke Ikard, Nancy O'D Wilson, Sasha Baskin, Scott Cawood, Brad Blair, Rachel Hayden, Se Jong Cho, Justin Tsucalas, and Balti Virtual. Participating ​artists in the mask display and silent auction include Bevadine Zoma Terrell, Tom Kennedy, Amanda Belles, Annette Wilson Jones, Amanda Wiater, Katharine Watson, Barbara Treasure, Aleia Street, Sandra Street, Christine Stoddard, Sheryl Southwick, Meg Rayford, Stephanie Podue, Jim Opasik, Elizabeth Ann Miller, Shawn E. McCoy, Diana Marta, Leah Lucci, Amanda Johnson, Laurie Hewitt, Brenda Harrison, Martha Gatewood, Michael Free, Mark Eisendrath, Carolyn Cavanaugh, G.E.
