Fantastic Fungi, directed by Louie Schwartzberg, is a consciousness-shifting film that takes us on an immersive journey through time and scale into the magical earth beneath our feet, an underground network that can heal and save our planet. Through the eyes experts such as scientist Paul Stamets and author Michael Pollan, we awaken to the beauty, intelligence and solutions the fungi kingdom offers. the Baltimore Psychedelic Society In partnership with the Charles Theater and the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research, our Society will sponsor a showing of the movie Fantastic Fungi, directed by Louie Schwartzberg. ( Louie Schwartzberg is an award-winning producer, director, and cinematographer whose notable career spans more than three decades.) on December 4th, 7 p.m., at the Charles Theater. Following the viewing, Dr. Roland Griffiths, Director of the Center, and Mary Cosimano, MSW, Director of Guide and Facilitator Services at the Center will conduct a Q&A session. Mr. Schwartzberg will also participate in the Q&A session via video conferencing; Colm Walker of the Baltimore Psychedelic Society will moderate the session.
