Christy Trapp is thrilled to bring her newest Cabaret show "Searching for Signs" back to Germano's this spring.
"Searching for Signs" features music from Madonna to Dolly Parton, and Guns and Roses to Stephen Schwartz, Trapp explores faith, love, life, and the never ending quest for inner peace. Are we alone? Is something bigger guiding us? Do we choose to live in fear, or surrounded by love? "Searching for Signs" was originally conceived with and directed by Lennie Watts with musical arrangements by Steven Ray Watkins, both award winning New York Cabaret Artists. The Baltimore performance is musical directed by the talented Jeff Hamlin.
Christy Trapp is a seasoned cabaret artist, with 20 years of experience entertaining and enchanting audiences up and down the East Coast. Numerous memorable performances including "Red High Heels" which made stops in New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Baltimore and Annapolis. Her newest show "Searching for Signs" debuted at Don't Tell Mama in New York City, Spring 2015, and most recently with a stop at Ram's Head in Annapolis this past October.
Trapp's authentic and exhilarating stage presence showcases her true passion for cabaret and the love of storytelling. She believes everyone has a story to tell and the more people share with one another the more connected we become. Trapp relates to each individual song, finding meaning that speaks to her and brings her own twist on classics. By blending sounds that span genres and reviving familiar favorites to create new meaning.
