Overview

A full weekend of architectural adventure in Baltimore! On October 6 & 7, the Baltimore Architecture Foundation, in partnership with AIA Baltimore, will present the fifth annual Doors Open Baltimore—a free citywide celebration of Baltimore’s architecture and neighborhoods. Over 60 buildings across the city will be open to explore as open houses and over 30 free guided tours and activities will be available. 2018 is the first year that a limited number of open houses will be available on Sunday. Architects and other industry professionals will be at select sites to talk about their design. The majority of guided tours will also be on Sunday. Doors Open Baltimore is a self-guided event, and sites can be enjoyed by foot, bicycle, public transit, or car. Sites are organized into neighborhood clusters to minimize the amount of time you have to spend in transit. Participants are encouraged to take advantage of transit services such as the light rail, metro, Charm City Circulator, and the Baltimore Bike Share.
