Mixolo is excited to save a seat for you at our "table of ones" at FACES 2018, annual fundraiser for The Children's Home, a veritable respite for youth that have been affected and/or displaced by childhood trauma. A noble effort indeed. The Children’s Home focuses on programs and services that assist vulnerable youth both inside and outside the family structure, offering targeted mental health services to mitigate the effects of childhood trauma. For this year’s theme, “My Story,” residents of The Children’s Home (13-21 years of age) as well as staff, leadership, volunteers and alumni will share personal stories about the impact of The Children’s Home on their lives. Prepare to be moved by the gallery of curated works created by children and youth who reside in the home. This is one of Baltimore’s premier events. We'll gather in support of this impressive and effective organization at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Ravens. Festivities include the usual "funspects," a live and silent art auction, music, exquisite foodie delights, and dancing. What’s more, the interactive art tables (and photo booth!) are a major draw and allow party revelers to experience firsthand the emotional benefits of expression through art. All of this with an impressive view from the stadium. If you have ever felt that you wanted to do more to help alleviate suffering among our most vulnerable citizens, this is a start. Join us in support of The Children's Home and help them continue the work that many cannot or won't do. These children are our future, too. Mixolo has arranged to sell tickets set aside for our members on our Mixolo ticketing platform in order to provide a shared experience for our solo guests. For more information about The Children’s Home, visit www.thechildrenshome.net. THE VENUE: M& T Bank Stadium is the home of the Baltmore Ravens Football Team. We'll meet in the Southeast Club Level Lounge for the FACES event. Check-in at registration with your name and let them know you are with Mixolo and they will direct you to our community space set aside for maximum connection during the nithg.
