Overview

This Mother's Day spend some quality time with the wild, wicked women of Baltimore's Mount Vernon. From the Gilded Age to the Jazz Age, Mount Vernon, Baltimore has it all. Day-drink with mom while learning about the bizarre origins of the holiday as well as the history of some of the more colorful women who lived here. Mount Vernon was where Mary Garrett Jacobs ruled Baltimore society, Zelda Fitzgerald’s disastrous 5 hour play was staged, and Wallace Warfield Simpson first worked her wiles. The neighborhood has hosted kings and presidents, and not a few famous writers. What better place to take your favorite wild woman? Join us to revisit the intrigue of the past along these hallowed streets.
