Presented by: Carrie Glenn, University of Delaware, Lord Baltimore Fellow Lord Baltimore Fellow, Carrie Glenn will examine the effects of the Haitian Revolution on North Americans traveling to and trading with Saint Domingue. She will discuss the following questions: in what ways did revolutionary turmoil alter trade? And, how did those merchants in Saint Domingue’s port cities adjust to war and revolution?
