This 8,000-square foot, state-of-the art facility, is an open and welcoming destination for Baltimore visitors and residents and, offers an array of information resources and services, all designed to make your stay in Baltimore one to remember. A highly trained and professional staff and volunteers provides one-on-one personalized visitor information services.
Catch up on special events, purchase tickets for attractions, museums, tours, and harbor cruises, pick up brochures, make reservations for dining and lodging, and learn about the city's attractions, history, arts, neighborhoods, and shopping—all in one convenient location at 401 Light Street on the West Shore of Baltimore's famous Inner Harbor.
Lighted displays of over 200 brochures, visitor guides, and maps, and cellphone and tablet charging stations are available. LED touchscreens provide visitor information about attractions, museums, restaurants and lodging, including way finding with the ability to download the information directly to your smartphone or tablet.
Museums, attractions and historic sites display collections of their artifacts in display cases on a rotating basis so that visitors can glimpse some of the wealth of things to see & do in Baltimore. The center also has a gift shop with unique Baltimore merchandise.

At night, the building comes to life facing the harbor with different colored lights depending on season, activity or holiday.
