Stall 11
This stall, in Remington’s modern food hall R. House, serves up an entirely plant-based menu using sustainable and local ingredients. The global street food theme includes dishes that vary from Korean barbecue cauliflower and mushroom “cheesesteaks” to fresh-pressed juices and smoothies.
Movement Body Lab
After breakfast, head to the second floor of R. House, where Movement Lab offers a variety of mind-body classes and workshops for people of all fitness levels. It’s also the only studio in Maryland where you can practice AntiGravity Fitness, with aerial fitness and yoga classes.
Encantada
While not entirely vegetarian, Encantada’s menu puts vegetables in a starring role, with plant-based dishes like deviled turnips and spicy Nashville cauliflower. A bonus: This restaurant is located on the third floor of the American Visionary Art Museum, so don’t forget to leave time to explore after your meal.
Yoga
A yoga studio isn’t the only place to practice in Baltimore. Pop up classes are springing up at attractions as varied as the Maryland Zoo, American Visionary Art Museum, Mount Vernon Place outside the Washington Monument and much more. Check online for schedules.
Light Street Cycles
Try a bicycle tour to explore Charm City. Light Street Cycles offers five options: The Gwynn’s Falls Trail, The Waterfront Tour, The Jones Falls Trail, The B&O & Historic Sites Tour and The Waterfront Smoothie Tour. Sights set on a specific site? You can request a customized tour.
The Land of Kush
If you're looking for traditional Baltimore soul food with a lighter touch, try Mount Vernon’s vegan Land of Kush. The menu includes dishes like barbeque "ribs," curry "chicken" and vegan mac and cheese. The stellar vegan crab cake is a must-try.
Four Seasons Hotel & Spa
While the Four Seasons is an excellent choice for a luxurious stay, the hotel’s spa is an attraction all its own. For a real treat, book the spa’s Night Experience, which gives two guests exclusive evening access to all of the spa facilities, plus two 80-minute massages, a candlelit rose-petal bath and a multi-course tasting menu on a private terrace.
