Casual for a Cause is Visit Baltimore's citywide campaign to raise awareness and funds during National Tourism Week. All proceeds benefit the job and scholarship programs of the Visit Baltimore Education & Training Foundation. Please sign up by Friday, April 15, by filling out this form.
Members are encouraged to:
1. Take the Casual for a Cause pledge and activate your staff.
Encourage your staff to make a one-time $10 donation in exchange for a Casual for a Cause button and embrace "casual wear" during Tourism Week. You determine what casual wear means for your business. Whether your business is already casual, or if you prefer employees wear jeans (or simply don a Casual for a Cause button) for just one day of Tourism Week, this is an easy way to rally behind Tourism Week and support a good cause.
2. Display signage to help us spread the Tourism Week word.
Can't "go casual"? That's OK. You can still help Visit Baltimore raise awareness and recognize our Casual for a Cause corporate sponsors by displaying signage at your place of business during Tourism Week! For more information on deliveries and to request specific signage needs, please contact Allison Burr-Livingstone at [email protected] or 410-659-7054.
And remember – Casual for a Cause member participants receive a $10 discount on registration for Visit Baltimore's Meet the Candidates Forum and Spring Networking Mixer on Thursday, May 5!
