In an effort to continue to strengthen Baltimore's community, we hope you will join us by supporting United Way of Central Maryland's fight to ensure the stability of individuals and families who are facing homelessness across our region.
During Light City Baltimore, we are encouraging all restaurants who serve the "Golden Hour," the official cocktail of Light City, to donate $1 from every cocktail purchased during the festival event. All proceeds generated will go directly to support United Way's family stability programs, which empower families to become self-sufficient by focusing on the building blocks of a better life: education, housing, employment and good health.
All participating restaurants will receive collateral material from United Way of Central Maryland to promote your participation to prospective diners. In appreciation of participating restaurants, Visit Baltimore, Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts and the United Way will recognize your generosity through their respective websites and social media channels. If you are a restaurant interested in serving the "Golden Hour," please click here to complete the sign-up form by close of business today.
We are also asking all hotels to contribute $1 per occupied room night on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8, 2017 to also support United Way's family stability program. If you are a hotel interested in participating in the fundraising program, click here to sign up by close of business today.
We hope you will consider making a donation to help strengthen our communities and create a brighter future for all.
