Earlier this week Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake issued an official proclamation declaring November Bed & Breakfast Month. This proclamation comes at a vital time for the tourism industry as holiday events, shopping excursions, family visits and other travel traditions pick up for the most festive time of the year.
Members of the Better Baltimore Bed and Breakfasts are celebrating the proclamation in numerous ways throughout the month. Many B&Bs are offering special rates as a gift to their guests with savings of up to 30 percent or more off the normal room rates to encourage those traveling to visit family and friends, those wanting to explore Baltimore attractions, and those traveling for business to stay at urban B&Bs instead of hotels this season.
