Meet Local Campaign Encourages Local Business

Visit Baltimore has relaunched a refreshed Meet Local campaign with an invitation to everyone from local residents to corporate business leaders to bring their next event to Baltimore. The goal of Meet Local is to drive incremental short-term business to our hospitality community.

Meetings and events in Baltimore mean business. The decision to host an event in Baltimore in the short-term helps to support the more than 82,000 employees who earn their living in the hospitality industry and, in turn, contribute $2.7 billion back to the local economy via salaries earned.

We encourage all of our members to spread this message to friends, neighbors, customers and anyone who wishes to support Baltimore. Your event doesn't have to be a large convention to make an impact; it could be a family reunion, bachelorette party or work retreat, for example.
