Visit Baltimore is in the process of renovating the Visitor Center in the Inner Harbor and we want to help you showcase your business to the thousands of visitors who come to the Visitor Center each year. As part of this renovation we are installing six 55" touch screen panels that will give users access to all of the member profile pages and information that is currently on baltimore.org. Visitors will be able to search for members, browse member profile pages and view images as well as email member information and directions to their smartphones. The member images that we have currently loaded into Simpleview are smaller then what is recommended and may not look pleasing when they are enlarged on the touch screen panels.
We are recommending that all members log into Simpleview and begin loading larger images into the "Visitors Center Content" Listing IDs. You do not have to replace the ones that are currently available for the website listing. These are acceptable for the website and will view properly.
The new images should be formatted to 830 pixels wide x 375 pixels tall. Horizontal images are recommended. Vertical images will be cropped and may not view on the screens properly.
If you have issues loading the new images or are unable to size your new images properly please feel free to contact [email protected]. The new screens will be operational by mid-March when the Visitor Center is scheduled to reopen. Members who do not have images uploaded will not have any imagery associated with their profile page on the new touch screen panels. We hope that you will take advantage of this new membership feature.
