To celebrate National Tourism Week this year (May 6-12), Visit Baltimore organized several events to engage with our members, job seekers and the larger Baltimore community. Visit Baltimore and the Visit Baltimore Foundation teamed up with the Mayor's Office of Employment Development to host a Tourism and Hospitality Zone for the Mayor's Job Fair for 500 BCPSS Graduating Seniors on Wednesday, May 9 at the War Memorial.
On Thursday, May 10 we convened the region's decision makers, influencers, and thought leaders for the third annual Meet Local Forum & Tradeshow at Bygone. This event was filled with thought provoking and inspiring discussion about Baltimore's transformation and its impact to our neighborhoods and tourism portfolio.
Finally, on Friday, May 11 the Visit Baltimore staff came together to give back to Baltimore through a community clean-up and beautification project at the Mary E. Rodman Recreation Center. Thank you to our members and partners that made Baltimore's celebration of National Tourism Week a resounding success!
