More than 300 industry professionals from across Marylandjoined Visit Baltimore and special guests including Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford, DBED Secretary Michael Gill and Comptroller Peter Franchot in Annapolis on Friday, February 13, for Tourism Day. In keeping with the theme “Tourism Is Everybody’s Business,” conversations centered on how tourism is a bright spot in Maryland’s economy. Comptroller Franchot also announced a new “Let Summer Be Summer” video challenge in support of a post-Labor Day start for Maryland schools.
