On April 25-26 Visit Baltimore traveled to Chicago for its annual general manager sales mission. The sales team, senior leadership, and the Baltimore hotel sales team met with customers in the Midwest market to share Baltimore's development story, from Light City to the continued development of Port Covington.
The mission included a mix of client meals, in-office appointments, as well as a client reception at the Under Armour store with more than 45 customers. As a result of the mission, Baltimore secured 53,988 definite room nights worth an estimated economic impact of $27 million and 28,931 tentative room nights.
