Visit Baltimore was selected by Destination Marketing Association International as one of seven cities to host a first-of-its-kind diversity apprenticeship program providing one recent student graduate unparalleled on-the-job experience followed by guaranteed employment. The highly competitive call for applicants is now open and closes May 30.
A 600-hour paid apprenticeship, anticipated to start after July 1, will provide a substantial and holistic experience working across multiple departments within Visit Baltimore as well as similar industry partners such as a hotel; an attraction; and/or a convention, arena or other sports facility. Following successful completion, the apprentice is guaranteed employment with Visit Baltimore or another industry partner.
