Visit Baltimore Education & Training Foundation Announces 2016 Scholarships and Grants

The Visit Baltimore Education & Training Foundation has awarded 10 academic scholarships and professional development grants in 2016. These awards, totaling $19,665, mark the completion of the second full cycle of the foundation's biannual scholarship and grant making calendar.

Congratulations to the academic scholarship winners for the 2016-2017 school year: Aidan Alston, BA candidate at Coppin State University; Patrick Cutter, MA candidate at Johns Hopkins University; Ayana Bass, MA candidate at Morgan State University; Jodian Hamilton, BA candidate at Morgan State University; and Malcolm Grimes, AA candidate at Stratford University.

Congratulations to the professional development scholarship and grant winners: Natalie West-Makel, an adjunct instructor at the Community College of Baltimore County and a Certified Tourism Ambassador; Amelia Rambissoon, development and office manager at Station North Arts & Entertainment, Inc.; Roshé Anthony, owner of Roshe Cosmetics and a Visit Baltimore member; Baltimore Outreach Services; and My Sister's Place Women's Center.
