Visit Baltimore hosted our Customer Advisory Board (CAB) April 5-7, which meets twice a year to assist the sales team with development and implementation of strategic initiatives and to lend their collective insights and industry expertise. Our CAB members consist of 32 customers that represent over 250,000 tentative and definite room nights and over $140 million in EIC value.
This year's CAB members attended a welcome dinner and a special evening at the new Sagamore Pendry Hotel. They also followed the BGE Light Art Walk and attended the [email protected] at the 2nd annual Light City Baltimore festival. Several special guests joined in, including the honorable Mayor Catherine Pugh, Deputy Police Commissioner Jason Johnson, and Kirby Fowler from Downtown Partnership, to discuss the transformational development taking place in places like Port Covington and Sparrows Point.
Each CAB meeting is an opportunity for Visit Baltimore, the Baltimore Convention Center, and other hospitality partners to discuss key issues, trends, and opportunities impacting Baltimore. It is also an opportunity for CAB members to experience firsthand what's new and next for Baltimore both as a city and as a meetings and tourism destination.
