Visit Baltimore Hosts Key Clients for Authentic Preakness Experience

On May 19 Visit Baltimore hosted nine clients for a quintessential Baltimore weekend that included a traditional crab feast, drinks at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, and a day at Pimlico for Preakness. The Visit Baltimore sales team, Baltimore Convention Center and various hotel partners teamed up to enhance the customer experience, providing opportunities to showcase Baltimore's premier attractions, entertainment venues and city's culinary assets for off-site events for future meeting.

The clients that attended these weekend events represented 27,038 tentative room nights, 32,357 definite room nights, and an estimated economic impact of more than $19 million.
