There is currently a two-page advertising spread highlighting our amazing culinary scene running in the Summer Travel issue of the New York Times "T" Magazine and in the Baltimore, DC and Philadelphia June issues of Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine and Real Simple. This culinary ad is a strategic arm of a larger integrated culinary campaign, created and implemented to promote Baltimore as a travel-worthy culinary destination. Visit Baltimore is also highlighting the city's culinary scene with original online content and with a cover story about Baltimore's classic and contemporary food halls in the Summer/Fall Official Visitor's Guide. Visit Baltimore recently attended the PRSA 2017 Travel & Tourism Conference, which is the only event designed by travel communicators for travel communicators. The conference featured roundtables and presentations with leading practitioners, media and thought leaders such as magazine editors, freelance writers, CVB PR managers and directors, and more.
The team also hosted Finn Partners, Visit Baltimore's New York-based PR agency that serves as an extension of our team's efforts to secure top-tier national and international media coverage through extensive pitching and media relations. It is essential for those who represent Visit Baltimore to get an authentic feel of the city and experience some of the best restaurants, attractions and hotels that Baltimore has to offer. Thank you to our partners for working with us to make their trip a successful one!
