Visit Baltimore is pleased to welcome J'Quara Scott to the position of sales administrative assistant. Scott has worked part-time with Visit Baltimore in the call center and at the Visitor Center since 2013. She will be responsible for supporting four sales managers/directors in preparation for tradeshows, site inspections, bid presentations and other client requests. Scott is pursuing a degree in metropolitan studies from Towson University.
We are also pleased to announce that Camille Spilker has been promoted to convention services coordinator. Spilker's new title is reflective of the increased responsibility she has been assigned consistent with her role of assisting the convention services team. She supports the director of national sales and services and the convention services managers to ensure all groups are provided with all necessary services to achieve a successful meeting or convention.
Spilker joined Visit Baltimore from the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, where she worked for four years as an assistant event services manager, banquet captain and front office supervisor. Prior to moving to Baltimore, she attended Niagara University in New York where she received her degree in hospitality and tourism management with a concentration in special events.
