Belvedere Square

Endless Entertainment

From dining to self-care, the Square has a taste of Baltimore’s charm for everyone. A must-stop is the famed Market that serves as the centerpiece of Belvedere Square, with establishments such as Ceriello for fine Italian delicacies to the neighborhood wine bar that is Grand Cru. Other thriving businesses include Lynne Brick’s, a women-only health club created by Baltimore Natives, the Malanda Center, which focuses on behavioral health & wellness, and much more.

Can’t Miss Events

Each Friday night from May to September, Belvedere Square becomes a family-friendly concert venue unlike any other with Summer Sounds at the Square. Since 2004, regional bands have performed live music aside a variety of food from local vendors on the front lawn of the shopping center. Come April, the annual Belvedere in Bloom showcases fresh flowers from Dutch Floral Garden, new seasonal menus from restaurants like Atwater’s, live music, craft vendors and more. Be sure to check out other annual events, such as Trick or Treat at the Square, the Chili Fest and Classic Car Show and Light Up Belvedere Square, an evening of carolers, food and drink specials and an official tree lighting ceremony.

The Senator Theatre

Across the street from the Square you’ll find the Senator Theatre, a historic venue that has been considered a Baltimore City icon since 1939. The building is hard to miss, with its free-standing neon sign and art deco design that has the ability to make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. While history has been made at the Senator through regional premiers of films like Runaway Bride, today the theater captures the classic movie-going experience with modern, popular films fit for visitors of all ages.
