Light City Baltimore

Light City transforms the city with world-class light displays and sculptures, video projections on buildings and interactive technologies to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences for families, residents and visitors.

Performance artists, including fire dancers, shadow puppet theater, interpretative dancers and even two-story parade floats will perform at the festival’s stages and throughout the Inner Harbor over the nine nights of Light City.

Music is a major attraction at Light City. The festival features a full schedule of free concerts, including local, regional and renowned DJs, bands and musicians across every genre. Major acts this year include rapper Biz Markie, New Orleans-based Dirty Dozen Brass Band, jam band Papadosio and six-piece Latin rock band Ozomatli.

Join for a single day or all six days to participate in activities and discussions about innovation and social change.

Neighborhood Lights

Neighborhood Lights is an immersive community artist-in-residency program that extends the magic of Light City beyond the Inner Harbor by allowing artists to work collaboratively with the neighborhood of their artist residency.
