(BALTIMORE, MD) – Visit Baltimore has hired Kimberly Alvarado as its web and social media manager. In this position, Alvarado is responsible for developing online brand awareness, generating website traffic and encouraging engagement to further promote Baltimore as a leisure travel destination.
Alvarado is a graduate of the University of Baltimore, and is currently finishing a master’s degree in journalism at Georgetown University. She most recently worked as an advertising coordinator and social media specialist at Horseshoe Baltimore where she created social media campaigns, created and edited web content, shot and edited videos for promotions, and created advertising collateral. She has also held previous positions in other social media coordinator and public relations assistant roles.
