(Baltimore, MD)—Visit Baltimore is pleased to announce the addition of Kelly Nagle and Julia Watkins to the communications department.

Nagle joins Visit Baltimore as the organization’s new director of communications responsible for providing proactive and strategic direction in the development and management of Baltimore’s national publicity efforts, and securing positive earned media coverage in the City’s key feeder markets.

Before moving back to her hometown to join the Visit Baltimore team, Nagle spent more than seven years gaining experience in the public relations field, recently serving as Santa Monica Travel & Tourism’s communications manager. Recognized by Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) as one of the travel industry’s “Top 30 under 30” in 2013, Nagle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Villanova University.

Watkins joins Visit Baltimore as the organization’s public relations manager, where she is responsible for assisting the communications department through proactive media outreach, handling ongoing writing projects, and leading public relation efforts with international, local, and convention and group tour media.

Watkins most recently worked at Baltimore-based agency Planit, where she led the public relations efforts for multiple clients. Watkins earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication at Towson University.
