(BALTIMORE, MD) – Visit Baltimore is pleased to welcome three new members to the convention sales and services department.

Christina Ghani will serve as the new national sales and sports manager. She will assist in the procurement of meetings, sporting events, and convention business for the City of Baltimore, and also work to cultivate new business and optimize existing accounts and correlating business. Christina previously worked at various Hilton Hotel properties as a sales manager for more than six years, and graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in sports management and a minor in business administration.

Katherine Shenas has taken on the role of convention sales coordinator. In this position, she is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and activities of the convention sales department, as well as providing administrative support to several senior sales staff members. She most recently worked at WebbMason Marketing as a marketing account specialist. Katherine received her degree in mass communications from Towson University.

Amy Musgrove-LaPenna has been hired as the new convention sales & service coordinator. She will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with the day-to-day operations and activities of the sales and services department. Amy previously worked at the Hotel Monaco Baltimore as a sales manager, where she prepared weekly and monthly reports and assisted the social and entertainment room block. She attended the Western School of Technology and Environmental Science, where she was an accounting and computer programming major.
