Dining Out For Life Baltimore
Moveable Feast, a Baltimore nonprofit serving medically tailored meals to people facing food insecurity while living with chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, and HIV, hosts its 33rd Annual Dining Out For Life on Thursday, Sept. 24. Community members can simply dine at any participating restaurant that day, including Atwater’s Café (Kenilworth), Blue Pit BBQ, Cosima, Dutch Courage, The Food Market, Gertrude’s, LB Tavern, Verde, and more, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to support Moveable Feast’s mission.
Beyond dining out, the community can get involved by donating directly, volunteering as a Moveable Feast Ambassador, or signing up as a Table Captain, committing to bring three or more friends to a participating restaurant on Sept. 24. Last year, Moveable Feast served more than 427,000 meals to nearly 2,500 individuals across 15 Maryland counties, with more than 200 Marylanders currently on a waiting list for help, making community support through events like this one more critical than ever.
