Helena Hicks Speaker Series

The Billie Holiday Center for Liberation Arts presents the annual Helena Hicks Speaker Series. On November 8, 2023 the series will continue at St. James Episcopal Church in West Baltimore, featuring Aja Marie Lans, a professor of Anthropology at the Johns Hopkins University. Her talk is titled, “Integrating Black Feminism and Bioarchaeology.” It promises to be an enlightening and informative evening. The event is free of charge.
