Super Science Sleepover in a Galaxy Far, Far Away
Punch it, Chewie!
You’re headed to the Maryland Science Center for a night of family fun in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Track down kyber crystals and use The Force to keep them balanced. Explore distant planetsfrom the galactic cities to the outer rim. Hone your computer science skills to find and defeat a cloaked Star Destroyer, and more!
This event is intended for families with children ages 5+. Younger siblings are welcome to join, but are not permitted to sleep over. All attendees must purchase a ticket. Children must have an adult in their party.
What to expect:
- Check-in: Please arrive between 5:30 7:30 p.m on Saturday, May 3.
- Exhibit Exploration: Enjoy open exploration of our hands-on exhibit halls
- Themed Activity Stations: Drop by Star Wars-themed activity stations to explore science in a galaxy far, far away
- Planetarium Show: Pop into the planetarium and blast-off on an outer space adventure
- Lights Out or Departure: For guests not wishing to sleepover, you must leave the building by 9pm. We’ll say nighty-night to the dinosaurs and shut off the lights at 10:15pm for guests who are staying the night. Lights will come back on at 6:30 a.m..
- Breakfast: Wake up to a light breakfast served in the cafe from 7-8 a.m.
- Morning IMAX and Departure: Catch an IMAX film before heading out for the day. Show begins at 8:15am. This event officially ends at 9:00am when the IMAX film ends.
