Baltimore bassist Jeron White, has been very progressive on the jazz/avant garde scene. As a leader, as well for his group “Polarity”, and trio Jeron has recorded with several recordings. “Polarity” opened for Michael Formanek “Ensemble Kolossus” April 2017 at NYU Theater. Discography includes Jamal Moore “Organix Trio Ancestral Communion”, and Theljon Allen “Prospective”, Dimitri Nassar “America In The Key Of Black” Jeron White and “Polarity”… What the opposites bring in sound, placing tension towards sound and rhythm. Jeron leads this group with dynamics catered to raw improvisation.
Eric Worthy is a prominent saxophonist specializing in straight-ahead jazz. A mainstay of the regional jazz community, Eric is widely recognized for his work with The Worthy Brothers and The Transformation Quartet. His playing is characterized by a deep respect for the jazz tradition, a driving rhythmic energy, and a soulful melodic sense. Most frequently praised for the inventiveness and clarity of his musical ideas, Eric approaches improvisation as a storyteller, blending sophisticated harmonic concepts with a natural, lyrical flow.
Baltimore native Kamonté Johnson began playing Latin and African percussion early in life, building a strong foundation in rhythm and musicality. Later in his career, he transitioned to the drum set, discovering a passion for jazz and contemporary drumming. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Industry from Frostburg State University, where he deepened his understanding of music production and business. He has performed in a variety of settings, including intimate jazz clubs, large concert halls, and community events, showcasing his versatility across all genres. Kamonté’s background in percussion adds a unique depth to his drumming, blending technical precision with creative expression.
