Sand Art : Homeschool Days at Port Discovery

Embark on a self-guided journey throughout the three floors of fun Port Discovery has to offer and tap into special workshops offered just for our homeschoolers on these special days.

Sand Art

Workshop sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Sand art is an art form that has been seen throughout different, international cultures. Students will learn and use different artistic techniques while also exploring the types and composition of sand. Combine visual art, science, social studies, and fine motor skills in this sensory sand experience!

*Homeschool Days and workshops are not drop-off programs. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum and within special workshops.

*Each Homeschool Day features two identical workshop sessions, offered at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Participants should register for one session only.
