Natural Dye Class: Silk Scarf Design Class

Learn the basics of natural dyeing in this hands-on workshop with Ellie from Echo Foxtrot! Bundle dye a 100% silk scarf using a variety of dried and fresh flowers, herbs, teas, and even bugs!! We will first design our bundles, carefully tie them together, and steam them to process the colors. While your bundles process, students will learn how to make a simple notebook using fresh ecoprinted paper. This is a great creative outing to beat the heat and prepare for summertime outings! No experience needed—just bring your creativity! You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind scarf and new knowledge.
