20th ANNUAL BELGIAN BEER FEST 2024 AT MAX'S TAPHOUSE
Max’s Taphouse is thrilled to invite you to its 20th Annual Belgian Beer Festival! Located at 737 S Broadway, the iconic taphouse will open its doors at 11 a.m. on February 16-19 (Presidents Day Weekend), treating patrons to an unparalleled experience featuring the largest selection of Belgian Beer on draft in the United States.
In anticipation of this milestone event, Max’s has acquired an impressive collection of over 120 kegs from esteemed Belgian breweries, seldom available on draft outside of Belgium. Enhancing the festivities, a vast array of specialty bottles will complement the already extensive draft selection. Indulge in specialty food items crafted for the weekend, including delicacies featuring Chimay Trappist cheese sourced directly from the Abbey.
Adding to the excitement, Max’s Taphouse will feature approximately 30 additional kegs in alternative styles such as lagers, wheat ales, porters, ciders, kolsches, sours and stouts. This elevates the tap system to a staggering full 113 draft lines!
Max’s Taphouse now boasts a remarkable 113 tap lines. Recent additions include 1 Herkenrode and 4 Chimay lines, solidifying Max’s as a year-round haven for Belgian beers.
The taphouse proudly joined the official Chimay Club, attesting to its status as one of the top Chimay sellers globally. To celebrate, a special guest appearance by Luc “BoBo” Van Mechelen, the Brand Ambassador for Chimay, will occur on Friday, February 16 for a meet & cheers! A Belgian native, Bobo has played a pivotal role in the success of Belgian Beer in the U.S.
This exclusive event is in person, with Max’s Taphouse providing indoor seating and outdoor parklets pending weather. For those wishing to enjoy the experience at home, draft beers are available for purchase in 8oz, 19.2oz and 32oz pours.
