6th Annual Sankofa Children's African Festival

The Sankofa Children’s Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration hosted by the Sankofa Children’s Museum of African Cultures, bringing together children, parents, and the broader community for a day of cultural learning, creativity, and connection. Taking place on September 26, 2026, on the 4801 block of Park Heights Avenue, the festival features youth-created artwork and wearable fashions, African drumming and dance performances, hands-on cultural workshops, and wellness activities like field games and hula hooping.
