ABIS Champions & Legends Weekend June 27-28 is a fundraiser. The weekend is a celebration of excellence in sports and business and brings together advocates and allies of all racial backgrounds to celebrate together. Through professional development, panel discussions, receptions, a career fair and the Awards Dinner, as the main event, sports enthusiasts from around the country descend on Baltimore for this weekend (over 400 ppl attended in 2024).

The Champions & Legends Awards will be hosted by a contemporary celebrity and has been described as a cross between the BET Awards (for African Americans in music and acting) and the ESPY Awards (for sports). Like the BET Awards and the ESPY Awards, the style is a mix of classic, urban, sophisticated, relaxed and sports fashion that allows our guests and honorees an opportunity to dress to impress and mingle with some of their sports heroes and sheroes.
