Alan Parsons, born into an entertainment legacy, rose to fame as an engineer on The Beatles’ final albums and Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon. In 1975, he co-founded The Alan Parsons Project (APP), delivering hits like Eye in the Sky and Ammonia Avenue. Beyond APP, he released notable albums like Try Anything Once and On Air. Parsons ventured into musical theatre with Freudiana in 1990.
An electronic exploration, A Valid Path (2004), featured collaborations with David Gilmour. The 2008 reissue of APP albums and The Essential Collection highlighted his enduring impact. Parsons shared his expertise through the instructional series The Art & Science Of Sound Recording in 2010.
