Andy Falco and Travis Book Play Jerry Garcia

Bluegrass musicians Andy Falco and Travis Book bring their Jerry Garcia tribute duo to Rams Head On Stage, reimagining songs from Garcia’s wide-ranging repertoire in an intimate two-player format. Falco, guitarist and member of Grammy-winning bluegrass group The Infamous Stringdusters, joins Book, the group’s bassist and vocalist, for arrangements that put the songs and their melodies front and center. Their live release, “Falco & Book Play Jerry Garcia”, captures the project’s acoustic approach. For listeners who enjoy Garcia’s songwriting and the interplay of skilled roots musicians, this performance offers a close-up way to hear familiar material in a fresh setting.
