A fourth-generation Creole accordionist and internationally recognized ambassador for zydeco music, Corey Arceneaux has spent more than 35 years carrying forward one of Louisiana’s richest musical traditions. Drawing inspiration from zydeco pioneers like Clifton Chenier and his own great-uncle, Fernest Arceneaux, Corey blends traditional Creole zydeco with country, blues, and R&B, creating an irresistible groove that keeps dance floors moving all night long.
More than a concert, this is a celebration of a living American musical tradition. Corey comes from one of zydeco’s first families, continuing a Creole musical legacy that stretches back more than 90 years while bringing fresh energy to the genre through his powerful accordion playing, soulful vocals, and the dynamic musicianship of the Zydeco Hot Peppers. Whether you’re gliding across the floor, trying zydeco dancing for the first time, or simply enjoying the music with a cold drink in hand, you’ll be part of an evening that celebrates heritage, joy, and the power of live music to bring people together.
