Baltimore Honky Tonk on the Baltimore Peninsula feat: Melissa & The Moth Men + Caleb Stine
Baltimore Honky Tonk at Baltimore Peninsula Melissa & The Moth Men
Baltimore’s Best Two-Stepping Party, awarded by the Best of Baltimore!
Baltimore Honky Tonk is heading to the waterfront!
For the first time ever, Baltimore Honky Tonk is teaming up with the Baltimore Peninsula Partnership for an afternoon of country music, two-stepping, and dancing right on the water.
Join us Sunday, October 4th at Baltimore Peninsula for an unforgettable afternoon with Melissa Wright & The Moth Men, one of West Virginia’s finest purveyors of high-energy vintage country music. We’ll be dancing under the covered tent where the popular Sunset Salsa events take place, with a beautiful dance floor and plenty of room to kick up your heels.
And there’s no better backdrop for a Sunday Honky Tonk than the Baltimore waterfront. Come dance, listen to great country music, hang with friends, and take in the sunset as the afternoon unfolds.
Melissa Wright & The Moth Men
Led by powerhouse vocalist Melissa Wright, The Moth Men bring the sounds of classic country straight to the dance floor. Inspired by legends like Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, George Jones, and Loretta Lynn, the band delivers timeless country favorites with the energy and swing that make you want to get up and dance.
A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Wright has performed everywhere from NPR’s Mountain Stage to Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, bringing warmth, power, and a deep respect for the traditions of country music.
Expect high-energy honky tonk, vintage country favorites, and a dance floor that stays moving all afternoon.
A Special Solo Set from Caleb Stine
We’re also excited to welcome Caleb Stine for a special short solo set during the afternoon. Caleb is one of Baltimore’s most beloved roots musicians and a longtime fixture in the city’s country and Americana music community. It’ll be a chance to hear him in a more intimate setting before getting back to the dancing.
